Here you will find an assortment of audio and video.
There are some covers of other people's songs, some archive footage
from a gig I did a few years ago and some video of various loop tracks
featuring both covers and original material.
Walking on the moon and Boots are representative of some of the earlier
bass and vocals only covers that I originally experimented with, I still
do quite a few of these numbers when I gig.
The archive footage is from a gig I did at HD1 in Huddersfield a few
years ago, could have done with a few more lights ("don't make me
angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry")
Can't slow down was a video from about two years ago and was done
using a Boss RC20 and a few effects (I still do the same number but using
my laptop)
Sweet dreams and Stay around are much more recent and hopefully show
just what can be done using software based looping. Everything you hear
in these later videos uses audio recorded live, there are no prerecorded
samples.
I do use vocal percussion sounds in my live looping but I'm no beatboxer,
in fact because what I do relies on combinations of fairly small live
samples, it wouldn't be possible if I were to attempt to use beatboxing
techniques.
